"If the giant dinosaur skeleton suspended above the bar didn’t give it away, The Haflington is inspired by the great museums of Europe, with a wonderful vintage feel, complete with fossils and rows of old books. It’s a gorgeous, immersive space set over two floors, with soft lighting and plenty of wood. Pull up to the grand bar counter to explore the bar’s menu, The Jungle Book, which takes guests on a cocktail adventure. Beautifully illustrated, it offers drinks ranging from lesser-known classics to Haflington signatures. Rabbit Habit, for example, is a skillful blend of vegetal and earthy flavours, combining mezcal, carrot juice and cinnamon syrup. Beyond the bar itself, there are plenty of cosy nooks and crannies to explore, with comfortable, dark leather seating."

"Went 12/25 and had a Northern Lights. Sat at bar but they made the drink somewhere else which is weird. “Hidden” down a back alley and hidden a couple of stairs is this stunning bar. They now have a hostess at the entrance. The Haflington is a secluded cocktail bar tucked in an old colonial house in Hanoi’s Old Quarter (94 Hàng Mã, Hoàn Kiếm). Styled like a European museum with dark wood, leather seating and a suspended dinosaur skeleton above the bar, it offers polished, vintage-style cocktails in a refined yet hidden setting.
