"Réserve d’oiseaux en voie d’extinction "

"Loved that there was definitely birds to be seen! Not too many reptiles though. Going at feeding times is cool cause all the birds know to come (how it felt). There’s fences, but it’s more to keep things out from preying on the reptiles and birds. You’d see the birds you normally see outside, but there’s just a few uniquely seen there. Didn’t see a kiwi though! Ticket is good for two days and the hikes are pretty easy. Some are long but mostly pretty short/average. The map is pretty accurate ✨ There’s a couple sections you can listen to the birds’ calls through speakers in the trees. That was cool :) Staff inside zealandia educating and feeding were really friendly :) knowledgeable as well and offered tips on where the lizards could be seen (otherwise we would’ve never known & seen!). Couple water areas and lots of foliage ^.^ very beautiful. Good time. Also an immersive exhibit on the inside :) The one less star is because I feel like I saw the same birds I can see outside of zealandia; the special birds were very old / only really around when it was feeding time; and saw only two lizards and personally am not a fan of them being tagged. But, maybe there’s reasons. "
