EN It whisks you away to distant horizons in every way. On the walls, Air India advertisements of yesteryear and patinated mirrors exuding Indian aesthetics. The menu, though, takes the palate on a gentler journey, with Michelin honours as your guide. With a sidelong glance at South India, aubergines in coconut-curry sauce or gambas with coriander seed attain summits of culinary perfection, to the point that the cream of Anglo-Tamil society has made Trishna its personal dining hall. Behind this success are Karam (picture on the left), Jyotin and Sunaina Sethi, a sibling trio with an ever-expanding eatery portfolio (they are behind Lyle’s and Bao, as well)."

"Excellent Indian! Tasting menu on point of a little large. The gal our profiles carried through the meal beautifully and built nicely to the cashew and pepper chicken. "

"Food was good, but felt a bit Anglocised (not that food can’t be adapted and still taste good). I felt most of the dishes could have done with more salt. I’ve only been once, but it does have a Michelin star, so I feel like it would / should be consistent. Flavours felt more subtle than punchy compared to the Indian cuisine I’m used to, but that could easily be down to my lack of knowledge. Refined cooking."
