"coffee shop is completely abandoned in the mornings during winter break which is fantastic. i rescued a fat bumblebee from where it was stuck inside once and the barista said “you’re amazing!” like i was something really special and i felt sunny like the courtyard outside. watched my friend believe in god again inside this church, or at least other people. i love him very much. good long blacks and flat whites in the café. get the tiny table by the outlet and window if you can to feel tucked away and invisible.
