"Great views of the city. Beautiful hills that you can sit on top of and have a nice picnic and enjoy the view. Best to come in nice weather and bring some snacks because it’s a bit far outside the center in the southwest and takes a while to get there, worth it if you’re going to spend a lot of time there. Really lovely park "

"You definitely have to go here. The views of the city are breathtaking. It’s like a 30-minute metro ride from the center in a neighborhood called Vallecas, which is like a working class neighborhood far from the tourists. Going to the park would be a good excuse to check it out. While you’re there, I highly recommend going to Churrería Siglo XIX to beef down on some churros (one of my favorite Spanish foods). You can also go up and down calle Albufera and go into some bars. Vallecas is not the most beautiful part of Madrid by any stretch of the imagination, but it has lots of character and people are proud to be from there. It has a larger population than that of Iceland!"
