Opened by architect Trần Bình in a French Colonial house with vintage tiles and crafted antique furniture, it was dubbed the “architect’s house” by the HCMC creative community who frequented it in its early days. In 2011, it gained notoriety when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt dined there, and it has since become a staple for locals and visitors. Throwback Saigonese music plays from a reel-to-reel as diners tuck into items like braised pork belly in coconut water, stir-fried garlic zucchini flower, fried egg and tofu with lemongrass and chile, pomelo salad, and tamarind sour soup."

"11-01-24 : Il est recommandé par le Michelin et on comprend bien pourquoi. Le cadre est somptueux mais vraiment. Les filles ont pris des trucs bizarres mais prendre aubergines à l’étouffé, ils disent “fried aubergines” mais tout est cuit vapeur, il n’y a pas d’huile. Les roulements de printemps “lettuce rolls” sont ouf aussi. "

"Bib Gourmand 2024 The restaurant sports two dining rooms facing each other on the same street, flanked by a supremely relaxing koi pond and leafy garden. The menu is mostly traditional Vietnamese, such as đậu hũ chiên sả ớt (deep-fried tofu with finely chopped lemongrass), and the signature canh chua cá hú fish soup, rich in tangy sweetness. Make sure you save room for desserts like deep-fried banana or the sương sâm jelly with an intense herbal flavour."

"Très très sympa !! À faire absolument. Un peu loin donc demander à l’hôtel d’appeler pour réserver + peut être prendre un taxi avec les enfants. Les plats ils vont te conseiller. Il y a du morning glory (épinard local) et du crabe frit notamment. Le dessert : très bon yaourt et banane frite (pas original, mais terriblement efficace) "
