Founded and designed by owner Carolyn Wilson (CW), who opened the venue in 2017, the Gin Joint represents a throwback to an era when fine spirits were savored in surroundings that exuded style and gentility, executed with meticulous attention to creating a speakeasy vibe without the pretension. The lounge is known for its extensive selection of craft gin-based cocktails expertly mixed by passionate bartenders (like the beloved Roger) who create both menu classics like the Clover Club and off-menu creations, complemented by Executive Chef Gerry Sizemore's delectable contemporary American menu featuring small plates, charcuterie, fried oysters, filet, grilled cheese, and risotto with wild boar sausage—all designed to pair with the spirits.
