"Look to this French grande dame for proof that true luxury whispers rather than shouts (unlike you trying to order dessert over a booming playlist). Sometimes, fine dining should simply purr, as it does at Deuxave—from the sleek dining room with brick accents and firelight to the warmly attentive service. While plenty of the beautifully composed dishes here will light up your Instagram feed, you’ll find savory perfection in one of the most aesthetically understated dishes on the menu: the nine-hour French onion soup."

"Great 25th Anniversary dinner there. We had dinner inside. The service is exactly how you would expect it in a starred restaurant in France: meticulous, refined and attentive in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The tables and chairs are very well appointed and the room is adorned with rich draperies creating a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere. The soft background music and warm lighting set a pleasant mood and contributes to the overall romantic and sophisticated atmosphere. The food is truly amazing. We started with a generous pour of Champagne for me and a cocktail for Jason, followed by the Duck Paté to start. The plates were, as expected, art on a canvas. I had the Spiced Long Island Duck Breast* — Wild Rice Risotto, Blackberry Purée, Toasted Pine Nut and Maitake Mushrooms, Sauce Robert and Jason had the Tagliatelle “Bolognaise” House-Made Pasta, Veal, Beef & Pancetta, Creamy Tomato Sauce, Fresh Mozzarella, Basil Both were wonderful choices. We splurged with the French Fries “Au Canard” with Herbs & Parmesan. We did not detect much of the duck fat taste but the fries were nonetheless very flavorful and crispy. We finished with the Chocolate Soufflé which unfortunately was not cooked through. But, the overall experience and previous dishes made up for this faux-pas. We will definitely return and recommend DeuxAve Restaurant as a quintessential French Restaurant providing an exceptional dining experience. "

"Honestly one of the best dinners I’ve had in a while. Something so charming about stumbling into a lovely restaurant after a long walk and having excellent service and food. Bonus points if you don’t have a reservation. We had a bottle of Sancerre which was so yummy. Also want to highlight the chicken which was so good and the fries. We sat outside and it was just *peak*. I think about it a lot. 8.43/10"
