"You know the fish and chips are going to be good when there are grimy men in waders and rubber boots chowing down at the table next to you. A peak out the window reveals the inlet, allowing these scruffy Scotsmen to keep an eye on their floating, briny, work places while they eat. The fried fish dominates the orders here, just as it dominates the plate—a crisp golden battered filet of cod, if it can even be called a filet. It’s nearly the size of an actual fish; you need two hands to lift it in order to get at the crunchy chippies hidden underneath."
