"Historic place, an institution with a lot of very loyal customers (basically almost everybody who dines here knows Carla and/or Mirella). Distinctive interior full of antiques, objects, and eccentric details collected over time. The setting feels more like entering someone’s house than a conventional restaurant; the lovely garden area outside adds to that atmosphere. The menu follows a traditional Roman/Italian home-style approach; presented informally and often explained verbally rather than through a printed menu (you might not like this). Handmade pasta and seasonal dishes are the core; very personal combinations. Delicious and very generous house antipasto. Ravioli ricotta e spinaci con crema al limone olive nere intere is simply one of the best ever that you can get. A must try! One of those places where the experience is as important as the food.
