""can be really quiet, we often go and are the only ones on the beach. Don't go to the main cove, go to the beach east of the pillbox. Instead of parking at the fruit stand entrance, park at the entrance east of the fruit stand and take the trail straight back. Part of the reason the beach is so quiet is because it's a 5-10min forest walk from the parking area, so be prepared for that.""

"Pirates of the Caribbean, hunger games and lost filmed here!! Huge banyan tree… largest in Oahu. Free parking at turtle bay resort. Look out for horse poop! Entrance is across street from fruit stand."

"Beautiful, calm water, but super rocky at the bottom and difficult to swim. Really low clarity in winter, so also hard to snorkel. However, you can walk around and see turtles popping their heads up, or walk along the right side of the water and see turtles from above. Famous banyon tree on the property"
