Fondé en 1908, Cole's est le plus ancien restaurant de Los Angeles, reconnu pour avoir inventé le célèbre French dip sandwich. "Plus qu'un restaurant, c'est une institution. Ouvert depuis 1908, c'est l'établissement le plus ancien de Los Angeles. Depuis son ouverture, plus de 400 films ont été tournés ici et il n'est pas rare d'y croiser une star venue déguster leur fameux french dip , un sandwich trempé dans une sauce à la viande. Il ne manquerait plus que les clients se mettent à fumer à l'intérieur du restaurant pour se croire transporté quelques années en arrière... Cependant la qualité a un peu baissé et on ne vous en voudra pas de seulement visiter le lieu pour son côté historique."
