"This indie clothing-slash-music shop in one of Nashville's trendiest neighborhoods is like a giant cabinet of curiosities that you'll never want to leave. And if you time your visit right, you may get to hear a live show, too. What can we find here, or what should we look for? Two Old Hippies has 8,000 square feet of space, chock-full of men's and women's clothing, jewelry, home accents, musical instruments, and more. If money’s no object, what goes in the cart? A rare instrument out of "the Vault"—you can test them out in the soundproofed "Quiet Room"—and a pair of buttery leather boots. And … what if we’re on a strict budget? If you're minding your pennies, stick to the jewelry section, which has original pieces—like necklaces made from guitar strings—handcrafted by local artists. Who else shops here? Lots of travelers passing through from the shiny new hotels in the Gulch and SoBro. Any secret tips, or “don’t go home without” purchases? People love taking photos in front of their tie-dyed "Magic Bus." Beyond that, the musical instruments and the fact that they offer repair services are what make this shop stand out among the masses."
