"Went with Sao Jan 2021. He drove on the Thursday, I worked in the car lol. I worked on the Friday at the hostel and then skied with him Sat Sun. It was so fun, first time doing backcountry ski, so cool!!! We did the North Bowl and the Sub peak. The subpeak took soooo long to hike up. Everyone had the ski backpacks where you put your skis on the side of the backpack. I had to put my poles horizontal behind me and hold my skis. Like 30mns vertical climb. So hot by the time you get to the top. And so scary at the top!! But a cute okder lady named winter helped me, she asked 'do you wanna go down together?' and she coached me the whole way. We also climbed it up on Sun but it was sooo foggy we couldn't see anything. So we went down the South Side instead of the bowl. We were gonna do the bowl but some asian Toronto snowboarders asked us whether we were actually gonna do it bc the conditions are bad and there are forest parts at the bottom that may be dangerous. Doubtful the forst part is the most dangerous part, but I was down to follow them and try the south side. The bowl is funner and longer though."
