"Circa: 2018 · Times Visited: 17 Seventeen visits. At some point it stopped being a restaurant and started being a habit for my ass before, through and after Covid. The go to safe tourist recommendation, take your mom, take your date, go alone, whatever. Food — 7.85 / 10 Seventeen visits and the kitchen has never given me a real reason to complain, which is the kind of consistency that actually means something to me in 2026. Italian-focused, share plates, wood-fired everything which I got to see hanging out with the chefs through some connects. The menu is broad enough that you can bring anyone and nobody leaves disappointed. A 7.85 from someone who grades strictly is a genuine endorsement. Drinks — 6.8 / 10 Backed by the Concord Entertainment Group so the wine list has real depth and the cocktail options cover the bases well. The mocktail program is actually thought through which is more than most places can say. It's not a destination bar but it was never trying to be: 6.8 is honest and fair Service — 7.5 / 10 Consistent, friendly, and professional in the way a well-run hospitality group tends to deliver. Come enough times and they'll know you, until the staff turns over...but still good, which goes a long way. Never a problem, never a wow moment as far as revolutionizing service but just solid, reliable service that lets the food do the talking. Vibe — 7.8 / 10 The room makes sense. Warm, lively, built for groups and long evenings and the kind of place that works equally well for a last-minute dinner or a birthday you've been planning for weeks. It has a clear identity and it commits to it. Value — 7.25 / 10 Prices honestly for what it is and what you're getting. The occasional promotion tips things further in your favour. Nothing on the bill will leave you feeling shortchanged. Overall — 7.8 / 10 You can always judge a restaurant by how easily it becomes your default answer when someone asks where to go, and Bridgett Bar has been that answer more times than I can count. Seventeen visits says everything. If you've been looking for a place that's reliable, social, and never embarrasses you in front of guests in Calgary: congratulations, you just found your new default. You're welcome."
