"Lake O’Hara is a lake situated in the alpine area of Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada. Yoho National Park is neighboring with Banff National park and Kootenay National Park all are apart of the Canadian Rockies, There is a limitation to the amount of people that can visit each day in order to protect the sensitive alpine environment. (reservations to reach Lake O’Hara are made 3 months in advance). For more information Check out Parks Canada. (For more details and a map of the trail around the lake you can check out a post by Ben Neumann on his blog – he wrote that the trail to Lake O’Hara is one of the best hikes he ever hiked!)."

"Il serait dommage de manquer la découverte du lac O'Hara, une zone alpine fragile au coeur d'une nature sauvage. Afin de protéger cette zone, Parcs Canada impose un quota de visiteurs : l'autorisation est limitée à 42 visiteurs diurnes, ainsi qu'aux visiteurs qui passent la nuit à l'un des 30 emplacements de camping, dans l'un des deux refuges du Club alpin du Canada ou à la petite auberge privée."
