"One of Palma de Mallorca’s finest drinking establishments, this is an essential destination for whisky lovers, not to mention those who appreciate expertly-crafted cocktails. Offering old-school decor and ambience, with wood panelling and cosy lighting, there’s plenty of room at the bar itself, as well as various other options throughout the venue. Whisky is a priority here, with an extensive selection behind the bar. Along with this whisky specialisation, the retro signage outside of Chapeau 1987 promises classic cocktails, and the highly capable bar team here certainly deliver those, but the bar’s signature cocktails are well worth exploring too. The savoury Salinitat is just one example, with manzanilla pasada sherry, roasted red pepper and mojama (cured tuna), with a base of blanco tequila."
