"One of the best things we have to offer large groups is our extraordinary Pangas Beach Club and Restaurant. Pangas Tamarindo is an exquisite open-air full-service bar and restaurant set in the sand where the sleepy Las Baulas estuary meets the ocean. Giant laurel de la India trees, tamarindos, almendras, and palms shade the manicured expanse of sand where Pangas seats its guests at low wooden tables on cushioned lounge-style chairs. Surfboard storage racks, showers, and changing rooms make Pangas the perfect stop on the way to or from the waves that break at the Tamarindo river mouth right in front of this unique beach club. A PIECE OF HISTORY Pangas’ bar, kitchen, and two-story roofed dining area are housed in what was one of Tamarindo’s original homes 30 years ago when the town was a sleepy fishing village serviced by a dirt road and inhabited by a dozen locals. A lot has changed since then, and today Pangas is a beach club and gourmet restaurant that spares no luxury. Pangas Beach Club was designed to preserve the natural flora and fauna of the property it sets on, incorporating nature into its design and its aesthetic."
