"The “Mandarin Oriental Lago di Como” resort, in Blevio, hosts “L’Aria”, the one-star Michelin restaurant that offers a cuisine with a modern and contemporary approach. A sober and light environment, made of large windows and contemporary furnishings, perfectly integrated into the natural and architectural context, is the setting for a relaxing and convivial experience. The starred restaurant “L’Aria” is in fact immersed in the lush botanical park of the resort. At the helm of the restaurant is resident chef Massimiliano Blasone, who offers Italian dishes with Japanese influences. His cooking techniques enhance the flavor and quality of the best seasonal ingredients, resulting in beautifully elaborate dishes. Among the dishes on the menu: Salmon and tuna tartare, rice crackers; sea bass with black truffle; Mazara red shrimp in spicy broth; Beef ravioli; Black rice, shellfish, sweet olives; Tomato, grilled aubergines, ginger; Spiced lamb chops with rocket, cress, spinach, cucumber sauce, mushrooms and soy butter; Wagyu and black truffle mayonnaise."
