"Near Pura Beji Guwang in Sukawati, there’s a sacred, secret canyon that’s so incredible, it’s sure to inspire anyone and everyone. For any artist, photographer, creative, or simply anyone who wants to be wowed by a real life view of nature’s masterpiece – this secret canyon is a must-visit. The craziest thing about this canyon, is if you look hard enough – it is so uniquely shaped, one can even see a crying skull and other faces (lions?!) in the abstract landscape. Entrance fee: 10.000 Rupiah (Approximately USD $0.77), 150.000 Rupiah for a guide (Approximately USD $11.5)"

"Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon, a Sukawati-based ravine and sacred Balinese site, feels hidden in plain sight. Beyond the ticketed entrance is a series of mid-rise canyons lining the Oos River: prepare to climb, wade, swim, and scale your way through a rocky-tropical landscape not seen anywhere else on the island. A bonus? Touring hordes have yet to discover it. The mesmerizing, sculpted-by-erosion stone walls are even more magnificent with sunlight and shadow play. Leave it to the competent tour guides to take your snaps at all the right angles. Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon is a plum choice for travelers who need more than surfing to get their blood pumping. Prices start at around $15 for an individual (it's less expensive with two or more people) and includes entry, a local guide for up to four guests, a bottle of water, bath and face towels, and lockers and showers."

"The Hidden Canyon is another little known spot in Bali! With it being quite new to tourism the locals are really trying to build a reputable tour around the place. And they’re doing a great job! We paid 400,000 IDR for 3 people, so it’s one of the pricier attractions in Bali. However, the service was that of Western standards."

Beyond the ticketed entrance is a series of mid-rise canyons lining the Oos River: prepare to climb, wade, swim, and scale your way through a rocky-tropical landscape not seen anywhere else on the island. Guides are necessary for safety and if possible, avoid rainy season as the currents can rise to dangerous levels—the canyon closes on days when it’s especially hazardous."
