Drinks: Focus on craft cocktails, extensive whiskey, tequila, and mezcal lists, plus beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options. Food: Small plates/tapas, including popular items like miso deviled eggs, shrimp cocktail, and a highly-praised vegan charcuterie board. Location: Hidden entrance in the back of a building in East Nashville; look for a fox mural. Recognition: Named one of the best bars in the U.S. by Food & Wine. What to Expect: Hidden Entrance: Find the fox mural and go around back; it's a bit of a "hidden gem". Craft Cocktails: Expect imaginative and well-executed drinks, with bartenders who are knowledgeable and friendly. Small Plates: A great menu to pair with drinks, with many vegan and gluten-free choices. Reservations: Recommended for peak hours due to its small size. "

"The talented mixologists at The Fox are a big part of the attraction, and some of their novel takes on classic cocktails have actually won national awards in recipe contests. But even if all you want is a proper gin and tonic, you’ll be delighted by the cozy library vibe of the East Nashville emporium. The bar staff insists on seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients, so the drink menu changes frequently. Don’t worry if your favorite rolls off, because there’s sure to be something new to delight you."
