By the way, in the Soviet years, the only reminder of Prince Daniel, or even of the prince, but of the prince's name, in the area was Danilovsky Market, which appeared in late 1986. Built using the most advanced technologies at that time, with a huge, but at the same time elegant dome, Danilovsky Market became a true embodiment of modernist ideas. In 2016, a reconstruction of the market was planned, however, with full preservation of its architectural appearance. And today, when the doors of the reconstructed Danilovsky Market are open again, we can talk about a significant precedent for the history of Soviet architectural modernism - a style whose beauty and value are only now becoming obvious to the viewer."
