"Ask locals or anyone in the know about their favorite restaurant in town and chances are Sweet Basil is the place. Opened in 1977, it’s one of the oldest restaurants in Vail, but the ever-changing menu that reflects the seasonality of ingredients keeps the place relevant. This sophisticated modern American restaurant is very popular and, naturally, it’s challenging to get a table. So book well in advance for lunch and dinner. (Reservations are available one month in advance.)"
