Like fewer, with the sole exception of Nothing Really Matters, its unexpected location just off the 1 train in the 28th Street subway station gives it an edge. It has more of an element of surprise than most of its peers, better capturing that slightly clandestine quality other venues in this category aspire to. Take a date here for boudoir decor and the quickest possible exit. "

"Went 6/21. Eater Hottest Cocktail Bars June ‘21 & Sept ‘21. Super small Speakeasy with original entrance located in 28th street subway station but now is located on 28th Bren 7th & 6th (close to 7th & South side of street). Super small place with 5 seats at bar and a few tables. Offer Latin American bar bites. Difficult reservation to get (reservations@lanoxenyc.com or DM on Instagram). Went 6/21 on a Wed at 7:00pm without a reservation and sat at bar. Had a Forbidden Love :) which was great. Opened 4/21. Hours: Tue-Sun 6-2 (Google says Sun-Wed 6-1 & Th-Sat 5-2)"
