The role originally helped spot fires and smuggling ships. Today, it is a tourist attraction, with the watchman blowing his trumpet every 15 minutes between 9:15 pm and 1:00 am. Wallander Filming Locations: Fans of the Wallander detective series can visit filming locations in Ystad and tour Ystad Studios, which offers guided tours of film sets and props from the popular TV series."
