I live in British Columbia. According to Statistics Canada, Campbell River is the happiest place in B.C. and is one of my favourite cities. Second place is Oak Bay which is another favourite city as I lived there for years. As well as Nelson, Vancouver and Victoria. In travels, besides this province I’ve been across Canada except Newfoundland and Labrador (which are on the list). Every place has its charm but I particularly liked Saskatoon, Quebec City and Halifax. Going further afield I’ve been to England, Scotland, France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Netherlands, Belgium ( worst trip ever - bike and barge from Bruges to Amsterdam), Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Ecuador (Galapagos Islands were amazing), Mexico , Fiji and Australia to dive the Great Barrier Reef. Our first home exchange was in Cairns. In Africa we went on safari’s in Kenya and Tanzania. Thailand and Cambodia- Siam Reap and Angkor Wat. And the USA.
