I’m Adaurie Stemshorn, the author of I Will Always Be Your Mommy, a children’s book inspired by a true story about love and belonging. It follows Peawee the Peacock and Susan, a tiny chicken who becomes his mommy, and gently reminds children that families do not have to look the same to be full of love.
