We have five floors of books and a Waterstones café right in the heart of the Midlands. We are also very reachable on public transport and are a short walk from the train station. We are lucky enough to have two events spaces. Our recently remodelled café has large windows for natural light and seats 70, whilst our dedicated fourth floor events space has a small raised platform, microphones and a capacity of 150. Both spaces are fully air-conditioned. We also have a private room for Dan and his team to relax in prior to the event. Our usual events format are an Q and A / in conversation with the author followed by audience Q and A and a book signing. For the interview, we can provide a suitable chairperson but you are of course welcome to provide your own or we can source an external chair if you wish. We usually begin events at 6.30pm but the event format and start time can absolutely be worked around author preference and availability."
