"location: 6/10 several rooms decorated in the style of a nobleman’s castle, with large wooden tables, heavy burgundy tablecloths and drapes, stone columns, and, overall, a pompous artificial atmosphere that feels out of place in a pizzeria. service: 9/10 waiters were happy to offer suggestions and make adjustments to the pizzas. even at the time of payment, three different pizza chefs made sure the pizzas had been to our liking. the bill was also rounded down, with a discount of €1.50. time between pizzas being served was a bit too slow. menu: 7/10 we sampled various items from the menu with different preparations to create a sort of tasting. we tried the frittatina di pasta (7/10), the ‘Carciofosenzaspine’ pizza (9/10) truly excellent, very light and perfectly balanced, and the fried ‘Zammedda’ pizza (7/10), the dough had a great flavour but not the best texture, and the tomatoes with their skins were unpleasant on the palate, and the “le grotticelle” pizza (without guanciale) (5/10), which unfortunately had dough that was too dense and heavy, a cloying topping, rubbery mushrooms, and tasteless truffle. bill: 8/10 we paid €51.50 including service charge and two one-litre bottles of water. otherwise, the tasting for 50€ absolutely made no sense. @habemus_fame azienda agricola con ristorante e pizzeria @gamberorosso 3 spicchi @guidaespresso 3 cappelli @50toppizza 12° posto nel 2023 @50toppizzaworld 24° posto nel 2023"
