Why it stands out The beach is the main reason to consider it. Marco Island has a wide, soft Gulf beach with sunset views, and this resort is directly on it. Compared with many Florida beach resorts, this feels more like a full vacation compound: pools, beach service, restaurants, spa, golf, activities, and enough scale that you could stay several nights without needing to leave much. For a more adult, premium experience, Paradise by Sirene is the key booking category. Marriott describes it as a hidden adults-only retreat with 94 Balinese-inspired rooms and suites, upgraded amenities, and complimentary continental breakfast. Rooms and resort feel Rooms generally have private balconies, and the better categories are worth considering because view quality matters here. I would prioritize Gulf view / oceanfront / Paradise by Sirene over a basic room if the price gap is reasonable. One tradeoff: this is a big resort, and some travelers describe it as having a convention-resort feel inside, even though the beach and outdoor areas are beautiful.
