"Ce bar-restaurant, tenu par des Tahitiens, est célèbre depuis qu'une séquence du film " The Descendants " avec George Clooney y a été tournée. Des photos du tournage du film sont accrochées sur les murs de l'établissement et les responsables en sont très fiers. On peut même s'asseoir sur la chaise où George Clooney était installé durant la scène : les fans de Mr " What Else " ne manqueront pas de faire une petite photo sur ce siège sacré. Le bar est aussi très animé car, tous les soirs, vous pouvez y écouter de la musique live à partir de 18h30 et le vendredi, à partir de 16h30, un groupe joue de la guitare " slack key ", l'autre instrument hawaïen populaire après le ukulélé. Côté restauration, la cuisine est familiale à base de plats de viande ou de fruits de mer parfumés à la noix de coco ou à la noix de macadamia, et des pizzas. Mais la spécificité du Tahiti Nui c'est son luau (dîner-spectacle traditionnel hawaiien), le seul luau familial de toute l'île."
