Montsanto has nothing to do with the often criticized agricultural biotechnology firm in the US, Monsanto is a historic village in Portugal that received the title of "Most beautiful Portuguese Village" in 1938. This small village is full of religious and historical buildings built by the Templars such as its castle. If you are not passionate about history this is not a problem, the panorama alone deserves a visit."
