"With a modestly sized boat, it's possible to cast anchor right outs Madrakia, a sleepy taverna run by a fisherman's family, or Nobelos Seaside Lodge, a more upmarket affair where all the ingredients organic. When the three Nobelos brothers took over running the restaurant 10 years ago, it was a traditional family place. "Bijna in het noordelijkste puntje van het eiland vind je Nobelos Seaside bio Restaurant. En waar op het eiland je ook zit, laat dat geen excuus zijn om dit restaurant over te slaan. Dit is de crème de la crème van Zakynthos! Dat weten ze trouwens zelf ook. De gerechten zijn wel echt overpriced voor Griekse begrippen. Wij gingen er lunchen en betaalden €24,00 voor een seafood spaghetti, €17,00 voor een moussaka, €10,00 voor een cocktail en €7,00 voor een fles water. Maar daarvoor krijg je wel topservice op een toplocatie. Na het eten kun je hier gelijk een duik nemen in het prachtige helderblauwe water aan het privé kiezelstrand."
