"For those of you looking for current information on Kennywood's GF offerings: I just got an email back from their Food and Beverage Department. Here is their response: "Small Fry (in Lost Kennywood) is entirely gluten-free, not just with a dedicated fryer but no gluten items at all. The chicken tenders have a corn-based breading, and our fries at that location are the same as the Patch, just fresh-cut potatoes, all fried in a soybean oil. Our new par-cooked frozen French fries at other locations contain gluten and fryers may be shared with other gluten items so I would not recommend fried foods from any other location. Potato Patch offers the same potatoes but with a beef gravy side option, so there is gluten in the building but not as a great a chance of cross-contamination as there might be elsewhere. Ice cream at the Pagoda Creamery and the Golden Nugget can be ordered without a cone, and hot dogs and hot sausage from Midway (by the Jack Rabbit) and Pagoda Sausage, respectively, can be ordered a-la-carte and without a bun, as well as burgers from Carousel Burger. We do ask that you let the staff know of your allergy so they can take appropriate precautions to avoid cross-contamination. There are always a variety of salads and fresh-cut fruit available in the Parkside Cafe as well. We also still allow guests to bring in any food needed, as long as it fits within a 15"x15"x15" bag or soft cooler up to 12"x12"x12", per guest." Millie's Ice Cream offers GF ice cream cones as well. I hope this helps everyone's visits to Kennywood this season!"
