"Café Reconcile is a nonprofit restaurant and workforce development program located at 1631 Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard in New Orleans’ Central City. Established in 1996, it provides young adults aged 16 to 24 with culinary training, life skills, and mentorship to prepare them for careers in the hospitality industry. The café offers a menu of Southern and Creole classics, including fried catfish, shrimp po’boys, and smothered turkey necks, all prepared under the guidance of Executive Chef Martha Wiggins. By dining at Café Reconcile, patrons support the organization’s mission to empower youth and foster community development."
