"I’ve heard so many amazing things about not only the hotel but the restaurants within as well. Although it was grand on the inside - the place was under renovation and way smaller than I anticipated. My cousin and I came by for dinner after hiking to the top of half dome. To say we were in the mood for good food was an understatement. Words couldn’t describe the absolute let down we faced when our meal was not good at all. I personally would never come back to this restaurant or any in the building. Yes, it was that bad. "

"Hôtel haut de gamme exceptionnel, anciennement nommé The Ahwahnee. Il s'agit d'un établissement historique, qui a ouvert ses portes en 1927. Son architecture volontairement rustique, essentiellement en pierre et en bois, se mêle parfaitement à la nature environnante. Son ambiance est design, avec des inspirations à la fois Art déco et amérindiennes. L'hôtel mérite à lui seul le déplacement, pas forcément pour y séjourner, mais simplement par curiosité et pour profiter de l'atmosphère au salon de thé ou au bar."
