"Michelin Guide mention 2024 Perched high up the hillside in the Badacsony region, with far reaching views of Lake Balaton, this period villa was once home to artist István Farkas. Now under the ownership of an ambitious and enthusiastic couple, the team here are establishing it as something of a destination restaurant. Go for the well-balanced tasting menu and paired wines - you won't get much more local than this, with the cheese, salami, sausages, beers and wines all family made. Book a bedroom with a terrace and look forward to a fantastic breakfast. Sustainable Gastronomy — As a committed supporter of sustainability, we are aiming to leave as small an ecological footprint as possible. We have our own pottery workshop and coffee roaster; we have created our own special winter-summer vegetable garden; and serve a range of drinks and products made locally by our family."
