"CN Gold List 2025 From $450pn Hosted Tsar Nicholas II and King George V The most opulent of the Nizams’ many palaces, Falaknuma Palace was built in 1894. The front façade is in Palladian style, while the rear is a jumble of Indo-Saracenic domes and cupolas. The lavish interior has tooled leather ceilings created by Florentine crafters, furniture and tapestries from France and Italian marble. The Nizams’ most important guests stayed here, but after the death of the sixth Nizam here in 1911, the palace fell into disuse. Acquired by the Taj Group in 1995, it is now part of the luxury hotel chain."
