"Bonne glace mais sans plus "

"Part of the incredible boutique gelato brand from Sydney, with flavours and ingredients made completely from scratch, unique specials, and fun names. Also incredible icecream cakes and other special desserts (still need to try their cookie pies). Does taste tests. $5.60 single $7.40 double and $9.20 triple scoop, with $19 five scoop tasting plate ($16.50 500ml 3 flavour/$28 1L 3 flavour/$33.50 1.5L 5 flavour take home tubs). Visited December 4th 2020 with mum and Sienna as a birthday treat. Ordered double scoop with A Milky Way A Day and Salted Caramel White Choc (sampled Salted Coconut + Mango Salsa and Coconut + Lychee). Also picked up my birthday cake (Quad Choc). Visited January 20th 2021 to pick up mum’s birthday cake (Dr Evil’s Magic Mushroom). Visited July 17th 2021 to pick up Dawn’s birthday cake (How Now). Visited September 15th 2021 with Cato after working at the vaccine hub. Ordered double scoop of Leche El Passion and Hokey Pokey (sampled Nicky Glasses) Visited September 2021 to pick up Blake’s birthday cake (Bombe Alaska). Also ordered this again for mum’s birthday January 20th 2022 (just as good second time around)! Flavours A Milky Way A Day (special): caramelised white chocolate gelato with malted nougat/caramel/milk chocolate chips. Salted Caramel White Choc: very yummy caramel flavour and big chunks of chocolate, but not particularly salted. Possibly overhyped considering it’s their best-seller. Leche El Passion (special): passionfruit gelato with dulche de leche. Hokey Pokey: one of the best of this flavour that I’ve ever had. Delicious honey gelato and MASSIVE chunks of honeycomb. Samples: Salted Coconut and Mango Salsa (unfortunately not as delicious as expected given it’s one of their best sellers - good but not enough mango and too much salt), Coconut and Lychee (nice and refreshing), Nicky Glasses/coffee and salted caramel (would be so good if I actually liked coffee) Cakes Quad Choc: milk chocolate gelato, white chocolate gelato, dark chocolate gelato, toasted white chocolate parfait, flourless chocolate sponge, crunchy caramel milk chocolate, finished with velvet chocolate spray. The cross section with all the types of chocolate was gorgeous and even the chocolate spray tasted good. The caramel milk chocolate had to be the winner (no surprises there). Mr Evil’s Magic Mushroom: dark chocolate gelato, peanut cookies, dulce de leche, flourless chocolate sponge, popping candy feuilletine grass base, finished with red chocolate glaze and white chocolate dots. This one wins in terms of presentation, I can’t even articulate how cool it looked. And even as someone who’s not into peanut the cookies were so good, but the popping candy grass stole the show I could have eaten it by the handful. How Now: jersey milk gelato, dulce de leche, dulce de leche gelato, jersey milk soaked sponge, milk crumb, vanilla cream, finished with black and white chocolate cow print. In terms of flavour probably my favourite (to the point that mum and I secretly stole slices to stash before we let Dawn take it home). Perfect amount of caramel and a crumb that somehow rivalled it. Bombe Alaska: milk chocolate gelato, raspberry sorbet, raspberry gel, chocolate crunch, finished with torched raspberry meringue. This ones the family favourite, to the point we immediately ordered it for the next birthday. Not only is the presentation unbelievable but the raspberry and chocolate combo is top notch, and the meringue is a point of difference none of the other cakes have. "
