"World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023 mention Tasting $111 Seafood restaurants in Singapore are aplenty, but there’s nowhere in the city-state quite like Ocean. Dinner here is set to a unique and stunning backdrop, illuminated by the turquoise hue of the water enclosing the restaurant, with more than 40,000 aquatic animals gliding past the floor-to-ceiling glass panels as you tuck into your meal. Since reopening in mid-2022 under the leadership of fine dining veteran Olivier Bellin, previously of L’Auberge des Glazicks in France, Ocean has refined its modern European menu – available in either four or six courses – to celebrate all things seafood. Mains, such as the trio of breaded frog legs topped with sea foam, are masterful and contemporary renditions of the dishes of Bellin’s home country. A quadruple of delicate macarons to finish, starkly shaded in contrasting black and white, pay further homage to his home, mirroring the regional flag of Brittany. For a wondrous taste – and view – of the sea, Ocean is the place to be. "

"Restaurant installé sous la mer, vous mangerez face à de grandes baies vitrées donnant sur la faune marine, requins, raies, poissons... On y vient par curiosité, on y retourne pour la cuisine de Cat Cora, absolument délicieuse, aux saveurs méditerranéennes et californiennes."
