"Chef - Roux scholar. French/Japanese influences. From ‘Roux down the river’"

"It was a nice set-up. A bit more airy and lighthearted than most Michelins. Food was good, nothing more. We had the most fun with the drinks pairing. Went for Jesan‘s PwC offer and my promotion to AD"

"Built in the early 1900s as part of the Arts and Crafts movement, the Dysart (named after the family who once lived in Ham House), is an undeniably beautiful building, whose appeal is matched only by its views over Richmond Park. Inside, the warm, homely space blends period features like leaded windows and flagstone floors with more contemporary design elements; tables are well-spaced but still leave room for an antique grand piano – which comes into its own on Sunday evenings. A natural ethos runs throughout the highly seasonal menus, which feature impeccably sourced ingredients in assured, satisfying dishes that deliver some interesting combinations, underpinned by a classical base. The bold, flavour-packed sauces are a highlight, as are the creative desserts, and the warm, passionate service leaves no detail overlooked."

"Michelin 2020 dans un environnement exceptionnel ! Just on the north-western edge of Richmond Park, with views of all the resplendent greenery, the Dysart has a real countryside feel to it. It doesn’t come cheap, with a main course usually floating around the £30 mark, but the food is brilliant: rooted in seasonal produce, expertly balanced and hugely comforting."

"A lovely place with really pretty and delicious food. Service was great. Not sure I would say it was entirely worth the price, but a lovely birthday experience. "
