"Chronicle most fun tasting menu."

"1 Michelin star 2025 Offering what may well be the Bay Area’s most creative and ambitious take on brunch, this disarming passion project from co-owners Ollie Liedags and Rachel Sillcocks gets its extra shine from the pair’s extensive fine dining experience—each also contributed a grandparent for the restaurant’s name. The hospitality is cheery and warm, matched by a winsome space that calls to mind a modernist diner, and happily the cuisine is every bit as finely tuned. There is nothing precious or manicured about the cooking here. It is often bold and brash, a total riot of flavors mixed with stellar ingredients, and dishes are equal parts unexpected and undeniably satisfying. At dinner, find a rotating, seasonal multicourse menu with a few optional add-ons."

"Top 100 Hip venue focusing on creative fixed-price & tasting menus, plus wine, brunch & a la carte options. James Beard Best Chef"

"Described to me as the American Girl doll cafe by many friends. Certainly marketed in both menu and interior for a certain kind of sf resident ( not to mention the whole incident w the sf police). Serves breakfast all day, does a 4 course prix fixe menu for $45 which is reasonable (we didn’t get it). Strange that in order to get the prix fixe, the whole party needs to be in Union. Got the avo toast (fried sweet potato slices instead of toast) and the pancakes. Pretty good. Very ambitious menu, much to the dislike of some of the guests. Still, you have to applaud creativity. In total, around a 7.5/10 but I probably wouldn’t go back, "
