Le Chelsea Physic Garden, situé au 66 Royal Hospital Rd dans le quartier de Chelsea à Londres, est l’un des plus anciens jardins botaniques du Royaume-Uni, fondé en 1673 par la Société des apothicaires de Londres. Ce parc historique a été créé pour la recherche et la conservation des plantes médicinales, et il a rapidement acquis une renommée mondiale. First cedar trees of Lebanon imported to England in 1683 were grown here and Cotton seeds from garden were sent to Georgia and gave birth to the American cotton industry. ‘Magical’ Chinchona tree thrives in the garden and its bark provides precious quinine. Largest fruiting olive tree in UK is here."
