Kozmo Hotel Suites & Spa strikes what might be the perfect balance, updating a stately 19th-century building on the city’s Grand Boulevard with chic contemporary furnishings and décor, creating a memorable fusion of the classic and the modern. The result is an excellent 21st-century travel experience; the standard rooms are cozy but quite comfortable, with herringbone parquet floors and eye-catching contemporary furniture and artworks, as well as plush comforts like a king bed and a pillow menu. The accommodations expand steadily through more than half a dozen categories, including connected family rooms, spacious junior suites with terraces, and some downright expansive suites, complete with living rooms, dressing rooms, and vast spa-like bathrooms. There’s a spa and wellness center with two pools, one for relaxation and one for fitness, as well as three treatment cabins and a sauna and steam room. As for food and drinks, there’s a lobby bar with an outdoor terrace, as well as a fine dining restaurant that doubles, in the morning, as a breakfast room."
