"One of the most well-known coffee roasters in Istanbul, Petra Roasting Co now has several locations dotted around the city. Each location has its own aesthetic; the Petra Cafe in Topağacı is known for its time-worn tiled floors and plush leather booths, while the trendy Bebek neighbourhood boasts a Petra Cafe with a coveted outdoor space. Here, visitors lounge on low-lying garden chairs as sunlight filters through swathes of foliage hanging overhead. But my favourite by far is the location in Şişhane. Petra Cafe Şişhane is all about refined minimalism, with steel reigning supreme – picture glimmering silver cups, countertops and serving plates. Seating is offered on rows of sleek white steps, though you can grab a coffee to go and take it to Şişhane Park. Conveniently located a two-minute walk away, the park offers tiered seating and panoramic views of the city"

Sivetoğlu also recommends their French omelette. Narin is another fan, and is partial to the scrambled eggs. The establishment also offers baked goods, vegan options and sandwiches."
