Scoop Gelati

"9/10 “Homemade family recipe” gelato at Burleigh, that also happens to have been voted best gelato at the Gold Coast for the past two years (so you know I had high hopes). Does taste tests. $5 single $7 double and $9 triple scoop ($17 500ml 2 flavour/$24 1L 3 flavour take home tubs) Visited 29th January 2022 when Georgia, Emily and Casey came for a beach day (though they got something from a local juice bar instead). Tried the Hokey Pokey gelato and sampled the Himalayan Salted Caramel and White Chocolate. Flavours Honey Pokey: hands down the best hokey pokey gelato I’ve tried. Really big scoop and massive (and I mean massive - I couldn’t believe how many were mixed in even in my original sample spoon) chunks of honeycomb and creamy icecream. The second I tried it I knew I’d made a good choice, it’ll be a hard choice whether to even try something else if I go back. Himalayan Salted Caramel and White Chocolate: also very good but just not the same level of stand out. Nice salted caramel flavour but could have been stronger, and didn’t really taste much white chocolate or any bits mixed in (but that might be different if I got an actual scoop).
