"Her name is Svenja. We boarded the tofino bus together from the pacific central station to horseshoe bay ferry terminal. But it was only in the ferry that we sat and talk togeter, towards Nanaimo. And she became my bus buddy. We shared carrots, rice cookies from germany, and south american travel stories. She told me about this heaven in Ecuador, too, which is still vivid in my imagination. Anyway, she was heading north to volunteer at OrcaLab. We hugged and parted ways at the junction to Telegraph Cove."
