"Eater - Chef Ed Kenney, known for his restaurants Town and Mud Hen Water in the Kaimuki neighborhood, recently ventured into Waikiki, opening Mahina and Sun’s inside the Surfjack, Waikiki’s go-to hotel for the young and artful. The menu is free of the cliches and imported seafood usually found at Waikiki hotel restaurants — instead of salmon and surf and turf you find whole deep-sea snapper and rigatoni with local pork ragu.
