When Chiltern Firehouse opened its doors in 2014, everyone who was anyone was snapped there. In its first few months of existence alone, Cheryl Cole, David Beckham, Naomi Campbell, Simon Cowell, Bono and Bill Clinton were all guests – and Rita Ora apparently stayed there before it had even opened. "As temperatures start to drop, I always look forward to spending time in cozy living rooms, warming ourselves near the fire or under a heavy blanket while enjoying a hot drink and Chiltern Firehouse proved to be the perfect place. Walking in the enchanted courtyard, we decided to sit outside close to the fireplace. Tastefully decorated, the place has a lovely atmosphere and a beautiful setting making its clients feel relaxed and at home. We were offered blankets to keep us warm, which was a great touch. We spent the whole afternoon there, having a drink and enjoying the delicious snacks. The snacks menu isn’t very varied, however the Crab-Stuffed Donuts are a must for crab lovers as these were very tasty. Also, the Tempura Baby Aubergine was a great choice and could have not been more tasteful. These were accompanied by a delicious sauce. All in all, we had a very nice experience, and excellent service."

Une maison victorienne de brique rouge, avec des cheminée, des fenêtres à meneau et des tourettes de pierre constitue un écrin de choix pour un hôtel de grand confort et un restaurant à la cuisine ouverte qui a déjà son étoile Michelin grâce au talent du chef Nuno Mendes. A voir tout de même, même si l'on n'a pas les moyens d'y séjourner. Il suffit d'y prendre une consommation voire un repas (penser à réserver longtemps à l'avance), le restaurant a très bonne réputation."
