"Sandals Caribbean all-inclusive review — Mapstr title Bottom line: Sandals is one of the safest “easy button” choices for an adults-only Caribbean all-inclusive, especially for couples, honeymoons, anniversaries, and travelers who want a polished beach resort where most things are included. It is usually not the cheapest option, but it can be a good value if you will use the inclusions: multiple restaurants, drinks, airport transfers, water sports, entertainment, and in many resorts, included scuba for certified divers. Sandals lists 17 adults-only Caribbean resorts across Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Antigua, The Bahamas, Grenada, Barbados, Curaçao, and Saint Vincent. What Sandals does well Sandals is strong at couples-focused, adults-only, low-hassle vacations. The big appeal is that you can book the resort, fly in, get included airport transfers, and spend the week eating, drinking, swimming, relaxing, and doing light activities without much planning. Sandals says its inclusions can include unlimited food and drinks, up to 16 restaurants at some resorts, entertainment, water sports, snorkeling, and scuba-related offerings depending on the property. The better Sandals resorts also have a very polished “romantic Caribbean” feel: beachfront pools, swim-up bars, overwater bungalows at select properties, butler-level suites, fire pits, private pools, and good resort landscaping. Recent coverage of Sandals Saint Vincent, for example, highlights the newer resort’s beachfront setting, 12 restaurants, nine bars, pickleball, water sports, and mountain-backed location in Buccament Bay. Where Sandals can disappoint Sandals can feel expensive compared with other all-inclusives, especially if you book a basic room at a premium property and do not use many included activities. Some resorts are also noticeably better than others, so “Sandals” is not one uniform experience. The biggest thing to watch is room category creep. The headline price may look reasonable, but the rooms that feel special — beachfront, swim-up, private pool, club level, butler level, or overwater — can move the trip into true luxury pricing. Also, while the food is generally good for an all-inclusive, it is still resort dining; it may not match a top independent luxury hotel or a food-focused destination resort. I would pick it only if you want a very easy adults-only Caribbean beach week with good service, lots included, and a romantic resort environment. My shortlist would be: 1.
